FAQ
How do we officially book you?
To secure your wedding date, a 25% non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking. For the remaining balance, I offer a flexible payment plan to make things easy, with the final payment due two weeks before your wedding day. For all other sessions, I require a 50% retainer to hold your date, with the final half due the day we shoot.
When will I receive my photos?
Your curated wedding gallery will be delivered within 6–8 weeks with a 72 hour sneak peek! For engagement and portrait sessions, you can expect your full gallery within 2–3 weeks.
While I keep a backup of your images on an external drive for six months after delivery, I highly recommend downloading your gallery to your own devices and a cloud backup as soon as you receive them to keep them safe forever.
Do you help with the planning process?
Absolutely. I believe the best photos happen when you feel prepared and relaxed. I’ll help you create a visual mood board, whether that’s using references from my work or your own Pinterest finds so we’re on the same page creatively. I also build a custom shooting schedule and a specific shot list to ensure every pose and person you care about is captured, leaving you free to just enjoy the day.
Do you offer albums or prints?
Yes! Your Pixieset gallery comes with a built-in professional print store. You and your family can easily order high-quality prints, canvases, and even design your own albums directly from your gallery
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in beautiful Upstate New York, but I’m always ready to hit the road to tell your story.
Local Shoots: I offer complimentary travel within [50] miles of my home.
Regional Travel: For locations beyond that radius, a small travel fee of $50 per hour of driving time applies. This helps cover gas and the time spent away from the studio so I can arrive fresh and ready to create.
The Bucket List Special: I have a deep passion for exploring new landscapes and documenting love in unique corners of the world. Because I’m looking to expand my travel portfolio, I offer a limited number of "Bucket List" sessions per year. If you are getting married in one of my dream locations (think: National Parks, the Pacific Northwest, the European countryside, or a desert elopement), I will waive my wedding package fee entirely. You just cover my airfare, lodging, and transportation, and I’ll be there to document your day for free!
